Dr Dragan Talić has been an important part of GFP since 2003, providing experience and guidance. Dragan is experienced in all aspects of General Practice & has been involved with training and supervision of student doctors and registrars.

Cameron Osborne

Cameron Osborne

Dr Cameron Osborne has been in private medical practice both as a GP and a Sports Physician for over 30 years. As a result, he has vast experience and knowledge of all areas of General Practice including a particular interest in men’s health and workplace health.

Cameron also holds specialist qualifications in sports and exercise medicine and as such is ideally placed to attend to the array of problems associated with recreational sports participation through to elite sporting issues.

Cameron served 10 years as senior medical advisor to the QLD Academy of Sport. He has had national and international experience in elite sports medicine practice having been the team physician to the Australian “Wallabies” and QLD Reds.

Anna McElrea

Anna McElrea

Dr Anna McElrea is a local graduate from the University of Queensland and completed her medical degree with honours. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Anna is experienced in all areas of General Practice, with a particular interest in family medicine, aged care, cardiology, paediatrics and women's health. She is passionate about helping people of all ages maintain their long-term health and well-being as well as helping her patients through the tougher times that life throws at us.

Anna joined the Practice in January 2010 and continues to accept new patients. She speaks French and some Spanish.

Aneesa Taylor

Aneesa Taylor

Dr Aneesa Taylor attained her medical degree at the University of Queensland before relocating to Cairns to complete her General Practice Fellowship.

Aneesa has a special interest in children’s, women’s and indigenous health – having previously worked with True Relationships and Reproductive Health (formerly Family Planning Queensland) and Aboriginal Medical Services in North Queensland.

In keeping with her interests, she has completed additional training including the National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health and a Diploma of Child Health at the University of Sydney. Aneesa is certified to insert/ remove intrauterine devices and contraceptive implants. She is also qualified to provide maternity shared care with the Mater Mothers’ Hospital.

Aneesa works in the skin clinic on Thursdays in our downstairs rooms. She has completed an Advanced Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine, she is trained to perform comprehensive skin checks and remove lesions where necessary.

Leonie Todhunter

Medical Experience:

  • 1980 to 1983 - Resident Medical Officer at the Repatriation General Hospital Greenslopes.
  • 1984 to 1989 - Medical Officer at the Mackay Base Hospital.
  • 1990 to 1991 - Registrar in the HIV Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital Darlinghurst Sydney.
  • 1992 to 1993 - General Medical Practitioner in Darlinghurst Sydney.
  • 1994 to current - General Medical Practitioner in Brisbane.

Leonie is experienced in all aspects of general family medicine including women’s health, men’s health, children’s health, sexual health and antenatal care. As well as providing home care for existing patients who are too unwell or frail to attend the practice, Leonie also provides continuing care to existing patients who move into a Nursing Home. Leonie has extensive experience in gay and lesbian health and has catered for the health needs of patients with HIV infection, including in-home palliative care, since 1987. She is an S100 prescriber for HIV medications and can also provide PEP. Leonie is experienced in addiction medicine and has been a Methadone prescriber since 1992. She also prescribes Buprenorphine. These opioid substitutes are available only for existing patients of the practice. Leonie is also certified to perform Diving Medicals for recreational divers. As well as working at Greenslopes Family Practice, she also works two mornings per week as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Brisbane Sexual Health Clinic.

Leonie feels privileged to be able to help people with their health needs. She especially enjoys being involved in the continuing care of patients and their extended families throughout their lives as they deal with the ordinary and not so ordinary 'stuff' that life presents
